James & Anne Centre for SeniorsJACS

Our Story

JACS was registered in August 2023, establishing a foundation focused on senior care in Ottery and surrounding areas. The Centre is built on principles of togetherness, love, and compassion to reduce senior isolation.

Mission & Values

Every activity, programme, and interaction is shaped by our three core values: Togetherness, Love, and Compassion.

  • T
    Togetherness

Building a sense of belonging through shared meals and conversations.

  • L
    Love

Treating each senior with warmth, patience, and sincere care.

  • C
    Compassion

Recognising and responding to the emotional needs of our seniors.

Board & Governance

Our Board consists of five core members and one co-opted member who ensure that JACS remains sustainable and true to its mission.

Uniquely, our CEO and Treasurer are actively involved in daily operations every week—demonstrating hands-on leadership and a deep personal commitment to the wellbeing of the seniors we serve.
